'The Pod'
Artist: Norm Spence
Patron: Telus
Provenance: This sports minded Orca is inspired by the great Canadian skier Steve Podborski who won an Olympic Medal in Downhill Skiing in Lake Placid, and the World Cup Downhill Title. Steve provided input into the design to creative artist Norm Spence.

Provenance: Featuring the best of natural B.C. this Orca is covered with eagles, dogwoods, maples and gorgeous British Columbian landscape. Artists Christy Deslauriers and Janet Woll are adept at creating a realistically styled piece of art.

'Hydra Spirit'
Artist: John Ferrie

Provenance: Artist John Ferrie likes to create colourful imagery that is both significant yet beautiful. Here, he has painted the Orca's habitat- the waterway between the mainland's skyline and Vancouver Island's coastline. Situated on top the Orca is the artist's signature- a bright, bouquet of flowers. A graduate from Emily Carr, John Ferrie has recently published a book entitled "Aqua."

"Sea to Sky"

Provenance: Inspired by ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics found in a recently restored hallway in an Egyptian pyramid, "Grooves" is a richly coloured and spiritual Orca whose markings are intriguing and beautiful. Artist, Claudia Bos explores consciousness and perception in her works.

Provenance: This environmentally savvy Orca is made from hundreds of recycled materials found around town. Take a closer inspection and you will find electrical fuses, a bathroom faucet, buttons, used license plates and metal spoons adorning the orca's body. Being a completely modern orca, he reminds us how people, the environment and commerce are all interdependent.
