SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
- November 19, 2003

Kick off announcement featuring Mayor Larry Campbell's Orca painted by renowned BC artist,
Landon MacKenzie, "Mayorca".
- January – April 2004

Series of media releases as each new sponsor and artist announce their Orca.
- May 7, 2004

A 'Kick Off' event will be held at the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre to
mark the opening of the exhibit. Event partners, Orca sponsors, artists, VIP's and
public officials will be invited to participate and view a number of the Orcas.
Walking guides will be distributed at this point throughout the City.
- May – October 2004

Uniquely decorated Orcas to be on display throughout the streets of Vancouver.

Orca Special event or events and special promotions will be explored to take place during the
display period in order to keep the interest, awareness and involvement of the community,
sponsors and supporters at a high level.
- October 12, 2004

At the end of the exhibit a black & white Orca Auction & Gala Dinner will be held at
the Westin Bayshore Hotel & Marina where the Orcas will be auctioned to raise funds for
Easters Seals and the Canucks for Kids Fund.
