Kick off announcement featuring Mayor Alan Lowe's Orca.
- January – April 2004

Series of media releases as each new sponsor and artist announce their Orca.
- May – June 2004

A 'Kick Off' event will be held to mark the opening of the exhibit in Victoria. Local media,
sponsors, artists, the community, VIP's and public officials will be invited to participate and
view the Orcas. Walking Guides will be distributed at this point throughout the cities.
- May – October 2004

Uniquely decorated Orcas to be on display throughout the streets.

Orca Special event or events and special promotions will be explored to take place during the
display period in order to keep the interest, awareness and involvement of the community,
sponsors and supporters at a high level.
- November 9, 2004
-
'The Orca Auction & Gala Dinner', will be a major gala black tie event to take place
at the Victoria Conference Centre with hundreds invited to attend. Invitees will include sponsors,
artists, and community and public officials.
